Joan Katz offers some explanation in a comment found in a New Painting, stating: “Deep Nostalgia. Legitimate Doubts. Safeguards to prevent misuse. Digital imitation. Resemblance without manipulations. Skilled impersonations. Staged illusions. Imitation of Life (the sequel).
